I've been thinking about having it all recently, whether this is a good thing or a bad thing ? or whether there is really an answer, and I came to this conclusion.

I often find myself running from one thing to another , from one business to another , cleaning the house , washing , homework , quality time with my boy , the dog , chores , family time , self care , education , time out , time at home .. there are just so many things i'm trying to keep up in the air , and the crazy thing is even whilst I’m focusing on one thing , my eye is monitoring the other to make sure the spinning doesn’t slow enough to stop and crash land.

The thing is .. do these plates all need to be up in the air and spinning constantly ? Well I think not , there isn't only two options with our plates, keep spinning or crash and smash to pieces … I’ve found there is a third way to help avoid burnout.

We can gently take a plate down place it on the floor and leave it there while we tend to something else … you know what is even crazier , if we want we can one by on gently take all our plates down and leave them all on the ground for a few hours , days, weeks .

Let's take making time for family , by simply telling your family you need some chill time and won't be available as much as usual, no one will mind atall and it stops that constant back and forth to keep it spinning ,and the guilt when it’s been a while since you gave it a spin.

Need a break from business , put a plan in place , ask for help ? or if you can let your customers know when you want to be available for a few days.

I suppose my point is , they are your plates and its ok for them not to spin sometimes , to give yourself a break , they don't have to crash and smash , we can make a plan and gently place them on the floor while we re-group.
